Who We Are & What We Do
As you would have guessed it, much like you, we love deals! Having been involved in the deals scene for some time now and getting in on some huge deals in the past we started thinking about how we could ensure we would always be the first one to find them, that way we would get the first picks of the hottest deals.
My solution was to create a proprietary piece of software that would detect significant discounts, price mistakes, and price glitches on Amazon. Now we didn't want our phones to be blowing up every time one of the millions of items on Amazon dropped it's price so we had to find the right algorithm to detect things that we deemed worthwhile. Without giving away too much of the secret sauce we applied a combination of many filters such as using only certain categories/subcategories, percentages off, dollars off, average price, only certain sellers, and many other inquiries to find only the best deals. Once we got that part working we needed a way to send notifications or alerts universally. Many groups use Facebook, Whatsapp, Discord, or forums as their means of communication, but most of these services either have very limited support for bots or none at all. To make DEALAGRAM function the way it was intended it needed to be fully automated, making it faster than any human can be, and alerting the users as soon as a potential good deal is detected. This is where Telegram came into play. Telegram offers excellent support of bots, private channels, and good enough alerts. Once the deal is detected by our software it shoots off the details to Telegram to alert all of you!
The website was then created to be a hub of the information and a peak into what DEALAGRAM has to offer without the commitment of downloading and registering for Telegram. Originally the idea of DEALAGRAM was meant to be a program just for us that we would use to have first access to good deals, but then we realized there were probably other people interested in it as well that would be willing to pay for it. So we decided to go with a subscription model to provide the service and a free version that would have all of the same deals, but just be delayed by 30 minutes, giving the premium members first access. The premium version of DEALAGRAM is available only on Telegram and you can read more about it here!.
At the time of writing, DEALAGRAM is brand new. We are a two person crew. I, Aaron, handle the technical side of things; developing the software, creating the website, laying the framework for everything, etc. Ananya, my loving partner, handles the marketing side of things; runnings ads, social media accounts, recruiting, etc.
